Tips and tricks

Keep your lawn healthy between visits

  • Mowing height and frequency

Set your lawn mower to the recommended height for your specific grass type and avoid cutting more than one-third of the grass height in a single mowing session. Mow regularly, aiming for once a week during the growing season to maintain an even and healthy lawn.

  • Watering

Water your lawn deeply and frequently, preferably in the early morning. This allows the grass to absorb moisture and promotes deep root growth, making the lawn more drought-tolerant. Avoid watering in the evening, as it can lead to increased chances of fungal diseases.

  • Aeration

Lawn aeration helps loosen compacted soil, allowing air, water, and nutrients to reach the roots more effectively. Perform aeration once a year, especially in high-traffic areas. This process promotes a healthier root system and overall lawn health.

  • Proper irrigation

Adjust your sprinklers to ensure even water distribution across the entire lawn. Be mindful of local watering restrictions and be efficient with your water usage.

  • Seasonal maintenance

Tailor your lawn care routine to the seasons. In the spring, focus on aeration, overseeding, and weed control. In the summer, adjust your watering schedule to account for heat and drought. In the fall, continue to mow, remove fallen leaves, and fertilize to prepare the lawn for winter.
